Why are my prescriptions less expensive at Fair Way even without using my insurance?

Spoiler alert: Insurance copays aren't truly reflective of actual medication prices!

We feel there is a more "fair way" to price prescriptions and make them affordable. Here's how we do it... We avoid extra costs like insurance contracts and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) fees, and we negotiate with wholesalers to get the best possible prices on generic medications. Then, we pass the savings on to you with our transparent Cost-Plus pricing.

Are generic medications as safe and effective as brand name medications?

Generic medications contain the same quantity of active ingredient as their brand counterparts, and they are proven to be therapeutically bioequivalent. The inactive ingredients may vary, but there are strict regulations on the safety and purity of those ingredients as well. As a result, most people will see no noticeable difference between generic and brand usage,

except in how much they cost.

How do I refill or order new prescriptions?

If you have an existing prescription at another pharmacy, just let us know that you would like to transfer it to Fair Way and we will contact that pharmacy. If your prescriber writes a new prescription for a generic medication, just ask them to send it to Fair Way Pharmacy. It is as simple as that!

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, debit cards, HSA cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo... and the list goes on. However, please know that if you choose to pay with a credit card, we impose a surcharge that is not greater than our cost of accepting that card.
